Perched at an altitude of 1,000 metres in Atauta, a location in the province of Soria, lies a valley unlike any other. Set against this unique backdrop, Bodegas Dominio de Atauta is quite literally suspended in the air. Its mission is to produce wines that reflect all the special characteristics that the Tinto Fino variety, grown on pre-phylloxera vines dating back over a century, has to offer.
The best way of understanding our wines is through the vineyards, which is why visitors to our winery will be taken on a tour around the valley’s principal landmarks, guaranteeing direct contact with its nature and rich culture.
The visit begins in the winery with a brief introduction to the site. From there, we set off on a tour of the vineyard that includes the viewpoint of the ancient wineries, the highest point, and La Roza vineyard, which is more than 165 years old, before returning to the winery to visit the installations and enjoy a tasting session featuring 4 wines.
