The history of Bodegas Álvaro Domecq dates back to 1850 and the founding of Bodegas Pilar Aranda, which today is considered one of the finest producers of sherry wines. Ever since those early days, the winery has sought to demonstrate the singular nature of wines unlike any others in the world.
Sherry wines and horses have marked the life of Álvaro Domecq Romero. Two passions that are embodied in his brandies, vinegars and his two lines of wines: 1730 VORS and the collection named after him and that pays tribute to the horses that have accompanied him throughout his life.
